چکیده
The spontaneous radiation combustion diagnosis technology has high requirements for obtaining the intensity of highly directional resolution in a system. Taking advantage numerical stability and easy implementation element differential method, this paper constructs model that can achieve spatial angular high-resolution cylindrical anisotropic scattering medium. In analyzing model, is discretized three dimensions. An upwind scheme proposed to suppress oscillation strong convection characteristics transfer equation. double-layer node algorithm used capture discontinuous singularities at boundary. comparison with analytical solution shows based on method description high-order accuracy. accuracy validity are verified through comparing results Monte Carlo method. further three-dimensional distribution angle space proves up-wind effectively realize stable calculation.

Differential theory for anisotropic cylindrical objects with arbitrary cross-section
We extend the differential theory to anisotropic cylindrical structures with arbitrary cross-section. Two cases have to be distinguished. When the anisotropic cylinders do not contain the origin, the scattering matrix of the device is calculated from the extended differential theory with the help of the scattering matrix propagation algorithm. The fields outside the cylinders are described by F...
متن کاملA Least-Squares Finite Element Method for the Linear Boltzmann Equation with Anisotropic Scattering
Least-squares methods have been applied to a wide range of differential equations and have been established to be competitive with other existing discretization strategies [P. B. Bochev and M. D. Gunzburger, SIAM Rev., 40 (1998), pp. 789–837]. In this article, we consider a leastsquares method for the linear Boltzmann equation with anisotropic scattering. A similar method has already been devel...
متن کامل3D controlled-source electromagnetic modeling in anisotropic medium using edge-based finite element method
This paper presents a linear edge-based finite element method for numerical modeling of 3D controlledsource electromagnetic data in an anisotropic conductive medium. We use a nonuniform rectangular mesh in order to capture the rapid change of diffusive electromagnetic field within the regions of anomalous conductivity and close to the location of the source. In order to avoid the source singula...
متن کاملAnalyzing Acoustic Radiation Modes of Baffled Plates With a Fast Multipole Boundary Element Method
In the analysis of an acoustic radiation mode of a baffled plate, Rayleigh integral with free space Green’s function is involved. The boundary element method (BEM) is one of the approaches to compute its modes and radiation efficiencies. In this paper a fast multipole BEM in conjunction with an iterative solver based on the implicit restart Arnold method is proposed to efficiently and accuratel...
متن کاملThermal phonon boundary scattering in anisotropic thin films
Boundary scattering of thermal phonons in thin solid films is typically analyzed using FuchsSondheimer theory, which provides a simple equation to calculate the reduction of thermal conductivity as a function of the film thickness. However, this widely-used equation is not applicable to highly anisotropic solids like graphite because it assumes the phonon dispersion is isotropic. Here, we deriv...
